Testing of diesel engines in passenger cars and trucks  

The Institute’s laboratories are equipped with test benches with engine dynamometers of modern construction which enable breaking of various concepts of compression engines:

  • Vehicle engines with power up to 500kW and max. engine speed 6000 min-1.
  • Aircraft two-stroke or four-stroke compression ignition engines with power 800 kW and rpm 12000 min-1.
  • Stationary and locomotive engines with high engine speed with power up to 1 300 kW and max. rpm 3000 min-1.
