RingDyn

The program RingDYN enables to analyze the impact of various design and technological parameters on the dynamics of the piston rings, frictional losses between the rings and the cylinder liner, and blow-by of gases through the piston group.

The program includes:

Model of the piston rings blow-by
Model of the hydrodynamic lubrication and roughness contacts (Greenwood-Trip)
Prediction of oil consumption
Tools for the optimization of parameters
